This multiverse goes by a lot of different names, but one of the most common is the Cosmic Quilt, or simply just the Quilt. It's a complex criss-cross of dimensions home to billions of diverse creatures known as cosmizens.

Dimensions and their cosmizens come in all sorts of shapes and sizes—even the way cosmizens are drawn varies from dimension to dimension! If they have one thing in common, though, it's that their lives are full of magic (and a little bit of chaos).

There are probably billions upon billions of dimensions in the Quilt, but it's pretty stable nonetheless. Still, reality shifts are a fairly common occurence...which is just a fancy way of saying that these locations' lores are subject to change at any time.
